Cloth Diaper Tip
- This ultra-specific tip pertains only to pocket-style cloth diapers: FuzziBunz, BumGenius, Happy Heinys, and the like... A lot of these diapers only come with one microfiber insert, but you might need more absorbency for an overnight or for use by a heavy wetter. Instead of buying more inserts (which can run as much as $8-10 a pop!), go to the automotive section of your local big box store and buy a six-pack of microfiber towels for $5. Trifolded or wrapped around a regular insert, they add a bunch of extra absorbency.

Thrift Stores
- You can find some nice stuff at second hand stores and garage sales (and on craigslist). Clothes, swings, toys, and even strollers are usually still in good condition, just don't buy carseats.

Buy products online
- Many estores don't charge taxes and shipping costs (when based outside your state). They also allow you to create a registry that you can share with family and friends

Sharing Coupons
- Clip coupons for baby items whenever you see them, even if you don't use that product. Then, you can trade and share with other parents. If you can clip coupons for others and pass them along, then others will also share coupons or deals with you!
