When folded, the BabyPlanet Unity twin stroller isn't much bigger than a folded single stroller, and it weighs less than many single strollers I've used, making it a breeze to store in a smaller vehicle trunk and easy to lift in and out of storage. The stroller folds reasonably fast, too. It doesn't have the super-fast one-hand fold of some strollers, but folding it isn't a struggle, either.
The swivel wheels perform extremely well on smooth surfaces, and the stroller is wide enough to comfortably seat two toddlers, but it still fits nicely through standard doorways. I expected the steering to be easy on smooth surfaces, and it was, thanks to a padded, centered handle that is placed perfectly for maneuverability. I was surprised, though, that the Unity double also steered very well on rough terrain. For a stroller with plastic wheels, it performed remarkably well on grass and gravel, though the ride was bumpy on the gravel.
The 55 lb. weight limit per side is better than some other double strollers, and the 5-point padded harnesses and reclining seats make this stroller usable whether you have twin toddlers or an infant and older child.
My one complaint was that parts of the frame cross through the double baskets on the bottom of the stroller, making it difficult to store large items. However, the manufacturer responded to that complaint, saying the baskets were designed so that smaller items could be stored below the cross bars, and a larger diaper bag could lay on top.
Overall, this well-designed stroller is a good value for the price and performs very well for a double.
