Guide Review - BOB Revolution Stroller Review
For everyday use, you can switch the front wheel to its swivel mode and it corners like a sports car. The stroller frame itself is big for an everyday stroller at almost 51 inches long and about 23 inches wide. You won't have any trouble getting through standard doorways, but the BOB Revolution certainly has a "big stroller" feel. The two-step fold is very easy to manage, and unlike many jogging strollers, the Revolution makes a pretty compact package when folded with the wheels off (about 32"x12"x23"). The stroller weighs 23 lbs, though, so it's definitely on the heavier side, so those who get the stroller in and out of the trunk many times a day might prefer something lighter.
The MSRP for the BOB Revolution is close to $400, but this stroller is often found online for closer to $330. For a top-notch jogging stroller, that's a great price. However, it doesn't come with the accessories that many parents like for everyday use. There's no built-in cupholder or parent tray, and you'll need to order a car seat adapter and rain shield separately. The accessories add more than $100 to the cost of the stroller.
The five-point child harness is easy to adjust, as is the seat recline. I love that the stroller can hold up to 70 lbs of baby, but the 21-inch seat height may limit the size of child you can comfortably fit in it. The storage basket is a little difficult to access, especially when the seat is fully reclined, but it's plenty big for an average diaper bag, and I like that it's very deep, so items won't roll out when you're on the go. There are also three storage pockets on the seat and the back of the stroller.
Overall, I really enjoyed test-driving the BOB Revolution stroller. If you're looking for a great jogging stroller, the BOB Revolution won't disappoint, and you'll easily be able to transition it to everyday use. If you don't intend to do any off-road ventures or jog with the stroller, you might be happier with a lighter-weight stroller that takes up less trunk space. No one will find fault with the one-hand, super-smooth steering or the stroller's ability to take tight turns in a hurry. Thanks to the sturdy frame and durable fabrics, the BOB Revolution should have good resale value, even after regular use.
