Aug. 29, 2012 - More than 2 million Summer Infant Mother's Touch Deluxe Baby Bathers sold in the U.S. and Canada are recalled because the wire frame can detach from the side hinges, which can allow a baby to fall if this happens while a parent is lifting or carrying the baby in the bather. The following model numbers are included in the recall: 08020, 08050, 08054, 08070, 08401, 08409, 08404, 08405, 08650, 08655, 08659, 08754, 08940, 08944, 18004, 18040, 18049, 18050, 18120, 18125, 18129, 18254, 18360, 18375, 18379, 18390, 18394, 18440, 18445, 18449, 18470, 18475, 18479, 38510, 38515, 38750, and 38755. Some models may have an extra letter at the end of the model number. These are also included in the recall. Aug. 15, 2012 - About 4 million Bumbo Seats are recalled because babies can fall out of the seat and be injured. More than 50 injuries have been reported, including skull fractures. While many of the injuries happened when the Bumbo Seat was used on a high surface, some injuries were also reported when the seat was used on the floor. July 24, 2012 - Peg Perego has recalled 223,000 Pliko P-3 and Venezia strollers made between January 2004 and September 2007 because an unharnessed child can slip between the seat and the front tray, posing an entrapment and strangulation hazard.
