phil & ted's Infant Car Seat Adapters
June 4, 2014 - Nearly 400 phil & ted's infant car seat adapters sold in the U.S. and Canada are recalled because the adapters can crack or break during use, posing a fall hazard for infants. The adapters are used to attach infant car seats to the following phil & ted's strollers: Classic, Dot, Explorer, Hammerhead, Navigator, S3 and S4. The brand name, TS26, and UPC 9 420015 7 4004 are printed on the adapters. Stop using the adapters and call 855-652-9019 to receive replacements.

Hamilton Beach Baby Food Makers
May 28, 2014 - Nearly 4,000 bébé baby food makers from Hamilton Beach are recalled because a metal pin can fall into the baby food during processing. This recall includes more than 3,000 units sold in Canada, and about 800 sold in the U.S. When the slicing/shredding disc is used with the motor shaft adapter, a stainless steel pin in the food bowl lid can come loose and end up in baby's food. Stop using the slicing/shredding disc and call 800-672-5872 to receive replacement parts.

Lakeshore Learning Bristle Builders
May 22, 2014 - About 2,000 Bristle Builders 52-piece sets are recalled because the base of the three animal figures can detach, posing a choking hazard. Place the three animal figures out of reach of children and call 800-428-4414 to receive replacement figures.

Discount School Supply Sorting Boards
May 7, 2014 - Discount School Supply has recalled 3,700 Magnetic Sorting Boards because the magnet in the wand can come loose, and the board can crack and release small magnets. This poses serious risk of injury from magnet ingestion. Stop using the toys immediately, and call 800-338-4430 to receive a refund.

IKEA Wall-Mounted Lamps
Apr. 29, 2014 - More than 30 million wall-mounted lamps from IKEA are recalled because children can become tangled in the cords, posing a strangulation hazard. The recall includes 3.5 million lamps sold in the U.S. and 1.4 million lamps sold in Canada. This is a recall expansion. In the initial recall, it was reported that a 15-month-old baby became entangled in the cord and nearly strangled, and a 16-month-old baby died after becoming entangled in the lamp's cord. Call IKEA at 888-966-4532 to receive a repair kit that fastens the cord to the wall. You should remove the lamp from the wall and keep it out of reach of children until you receive and install the repair kit.

Summer Infant Rechargeable Video Monitor Batteries
April 23, 2014 - This recall includes about 80,000 rechargeable batteries used in Summer Infant handheld color video baby monitors. The manufacturer has received more than 20 reports of the batteries overheating and rupturing. No injuries were reported, but some smoke and minor property damage was reported. The batteries are marked "TCL" on the lower left corner. One of the following codes will start the serial number on the back of the battery:

If you own one of these affected batteries, you should remove it from the baby monitor and call 800-426-8627 to receive a replacement. You can use the monitor with the AC plug in until you receive the replacement battery.

Walmart Dolls
March 25, 2014 - Walmart has recalled 174,000 My Sweet Love and My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care dolls because a circuit board in the doll's chest can overheat, posing a burn hazard. The dolls make noise when they get "sick," and the cheeks turn red. A medical kit came with the dolls. Return the doll to any Walmart store.

IKEA Bed Canopies
March 20, 2014 - IKEA has recalled more than 260,000 bed canopies sold in the U.S. and Canada. A child's neck can become entangled in the canopy tails, posing a strangulation hazard. Many styles are included, and some were sold as far back as 1996. Please visit the CPSC website for descriptions and photos of each recalled model. Return the canopy to any IKEA store.

Vera Bradley Bear Rattles and Bunny Toys
March 19, 2014 - About 98,000 Vera Bradley bear rattles and bunny stuffed toys are recalled because a pompom tail can detach, posing a choking hazard. The styles included in the recall are Lola Bunny 007590013357145, Lillie Bell Bunny 0000630012803140, Tutti Frutti Bunny 0000630012803142, and Lola Bear Ring Rattle 007590013234135. Rowe Fine Furniture Dalton Storage Ottomans
Feb. 27, 2014 - About 220 Dalton ottomans with storage compartments are recalled because a child can become trapped inside, which poses a suffocation hazard. Contact the manufacturer at 800-458-1818 to receive a replacement lid.

Cork Block Stacking Toys
Feb. 26, 2014 - About 720 stacking cork block sets are recalled because pieces of the cork can detach, posing a choking hazard. These block sets were sold in January 2014 through StorkStack.com. Contact A Harvest Company at 877-394-7774 to receive a refund.

Infantino Teethers
Feb. 20, 2014 - Infantino has recalled 191,000 Go Gaga Squeeze & Teethe Coco the Monkey toys because a baby can choke on the monkey's tail. Call Infantino at 888-808-3111 to receive a replacement toy.

BebeLove Baby Walkers
Feb. 6, 2014 - About 3,600 BebeLove baby walkers are recalled because they do not meet federal safety standards. They fit through a standard doorway, and the leg opening is large enough to allow a child's body to slip down and become entrapped at the neck. These issues pose fall and suffocation hazards. Stop using the walker and call BebeLove at 888-464-1218 to receive a repair kit.

Britax Strollers
Jan. 30, 2014 - Some Britax B-Agile, B-Agile Double and BOB Motion strollers are recalled because the folding hinge poses a partial fingertip amputation hazard. Eight injuries have been reported. These strollers were sold in the U.S. and Canada. They were made between March 1, 2011, and June 10, 2013, and have model numbers U341782, U341783, U341764, U341763, U361818, U361819, U391820, U391821 and U391822. A label on the inside of the stroller frame by the right rear wheel has the manufacture date and model number. The manufacturer will send hinge covers to owners of affected strollers.

Fred & Friends Chill Baby Pacifiers
Jan. 30, 2014 - Fred & Freds has voluntarily recalled 200,000 Chill Baby pacifiers because they do not meet federal safety standards and pose a choking hazard. The pacifiers came in three styles: black mustache & beard, black volume control knob, and red panic button. Visit the Fred & Friends recall website for return and refund details.

Playtex Pacifier Clips
Jan. 22, 2014 - About 1.25 million Playtex pacifier clips are recalled because the plastic can crack, which poses a choking hazard. The clips were sold in the U.S. and Canada, and came in pink, blue and green. Visit the Playtex recall website for refund information.

Midwest CBK Baby Rattles
Jan. 22, 2014 - Midwest-CBK has recalled 1,900 baby rattles shaped like monkeys, lions and bears because the animal heads can detach, posing a choking hazard. No injuries were reported. Call 800-394-4225 for refund information.

Rockland Round Cribs
July 23, 2013 - Nearly 4,000 Rockland Furniture round cribs from Nan Far Woodworking are recalled because the drop side rails can break, malfunction or fail, forming a dangerous gap between the rail and the mattress. A gap poses an entrapment, suffocation or strangulation hazard. These cribs were sold at JC Penney. Model number 343-8314 is on a label on the inner, lower portion of the crib rail. Stop using the crib and find an alternate safe sleep space for your baby until the crib is repaired. Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers
July 23, 2013 - More than 400,000 Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers sold in the U.S. and Canada are recalled because the sun toy can rebound toward baby with enough force to cause injury. More than 60 injuries have been reported, including an infant with a skull fracture and an adult with a chipped tooth. Only jumpers with model number 90564 are included in the recall. The number is on a tag beneath the seat. The following date codes, found on a label on the back of the seat pad, are included in the recall: OD0, OE0, OF0, OG0, OH0, OI0, OJ0, OK0, OL0, OA1, OB1, OC1, OD1, OE1, OF1, OG1, OH1, OI1, OJ1 and OK1. 4 Baby Bath Seat Models
July 17, 2013 - Four different brands and models of baby seat seats have been recalled because they do not meet the federal safety standards for bath seats. All of these bath seats can tip over during use, posing a drowning hazard. Remember, a bath seat is not a substitute for adult supervision!

Jeep Liberty Strollers
June 19, 2013 - About 96,000 Kolcraft Jeep Liberty three-wheel strollers are recalled because the tire inner tube can rupture, causing the wheel rim to break and fly off. This poses a risk of injury or property damage. Strollers with model numbers JL031, JL032, JL034, JL035 or JL036 tha were manufactured between June 2010 and September 2011 are included. Stop using the stroller and contact Kolcraft at 800-453-7673 or kolcraft.com to receive replacement wheels. If the wheels have a gray triangle on the rim by the valve stem, they are not included in the recall. Only use a bicycle tire pump to inflate the tires to 30 psi maximum. Do not use a gas station air pump to inflate the tires.

Nap Nanny Chill Recliners
June 17, 2013 - CPSC has issued another recall of Nap Nanny and Nap Nanny Chill infant recliners because infants can fall or hang over the side even when the harness is used. Four infants died while using Nap Nanny recliners. Another infant death is associated with the Nap Nanny Chill model. This recall resulted from a CPSC lawsuit against Nap Nanny manufacturer Baby Matters LLC. The manufacturer has gone out of business and will not accept returns or issue refunds. The following stores are participating in a voluntary recall: Amazon.com, Diapers.com, Buy Buy Baby, and Toys R Us/Babies R Us. Contact these stores to arrange returns and refunds. Otherwise, throw away your Nap Nanny recliner and make sure it is not used again.

Pottery Barn Kids Sweet Lambie Crib Bumpers
May 29, 2013 - About 12,000 Pottery Barn Kids crib bumpers are recalled because the embroidery can come loose, posing an entrapment hazard. The bumpers came in pink, blue and cream with lambs and grass embroidered on them. A tag on the bottom says "Sweet Lambie Bumper," and has the model number and manufacture date. If your crib bumper has model number 708859, 708917 or 7988348 with a manufacture date between 4/2009 and 7/2012, call 855-323-5138 for return, refund or replacement information.
