Guide Review - Life and Times Record Book - Personalized Baby Book
Unlike traditional baby books, the Life and Times Record Book is actually a three-ring binder with a personalized cover and hundreds of record pages inside. The binder style actually presents an advantage over bound baby books, though. If you forget to or don't want to fill in a page, or it doesn't apply to your baby's life, you can take it out. Some parents may hesitate to take on the job of recording 20 years of their child's life, but for those who can keep up with the task, a 20-year record book would be a great keepsake as the child leaves home later in life. The Life and Times baby book is divided into sections, including basic baby stats and family information, physical/emotional/social development, spiritual life, health, school, and music/art. The baby book also includes a journal and photo section where parents can write notes to their baby and include snapshots of important life events. Keepsake envelopes throughout the book hold baby teeth, locks of hair, birthday cards and other souvenirs. My favorite feature of this baby book are the grandparent letters. Grandparents or other relatives follow instructions to create a letter to the baby talking about their life, pieces of wisdom they want to pass on, their family history and more, creating an instant legacy that baby will treasure as an adult. The Life and Times Record Book is a lot to take on, but for those who want to really record a child's life, this baby book will tell a life story like no other.
