The Bottom Line
For less than $30, you can have a soft bathtub spout cover and a digital bath thermometer in one neat package. While some combination products sacrifice to accomplish more than one task, the 4Moms bath spout cover and digital bath thermometer does both duties flawlessly. I highly recommend this product because it is durable, well thought-out and it just works so well.

Guide Review - 4Moms Bath Spout Cover with Digital Thermometer
I've used several soft bathtub spout covers since my daughter was born. I wasn't impressed with any of them until I used the 4Moms bath spout cover and digital bath thermometer. Unlike inflatable or rubbery spout covers, this soft foam spout cover stays put even through a toddler tugging on it, and doesn't interfere with the pull-up knob that operates some showers (or the pull-down ring on the bottom of the spout on our bathtub spout). The foam is thick enough to protect against cuts and scrapes if baby should fall against the spout. A hook and loop tape strip secures the spout cover really well, so it will not come off unless you want it to.

The spout cover alone would be worth the purchase in my opinion, but the built-in digital thermometer really seals the deal. The thermometer is operated by soft buttons that are inside the top of the spout cover. A small screen in the top tells you the current temperature of the running water. If the water is in the correct lukewarm range for baby bath water, the screen is green. If the waters dips to a colder temperature that might chill your baby, the screen turns blue. If the water is over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the screen turns red. If the temperature continues into unsafe high or low temperatures, the screen will begin to flash, and then the thermometer starts beeping. Turning the water to the correct temperature range will stop the beeping and flashing.

This product is great for baby baths, but also for older toddlers and preschoolers who are learning to bathe themselves. The green range may be a little cool for some older toddlers, though it should be perfect for newborns and infants with more sensitive skin.

Overall, the 4Moms bath spout cover and digital bath thermometer is a wonderful product that will be help parents keep babies and toddlers safe and comfortable in the bath.
