Orbelle Baby Cribs Recalled

Saturday January 8, 2005
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is working with Orbelle Trade Inc., a baby products manufacturer, on a voluntary recall of Amber model baby cribs. These cribs do not meet current safety standards due to a gap between the side rail and crib mattress support. The company's Daniella, Leeat, Noa, Naomi, Gabriella, and Series 300 model cribs also are under recall due to improper assemply instructions and diagrams, and missing warning labels. If you own an Amber model crib, stop using it and call Orbelle at (800) 605-8018. For other models, contact the company for further instructions. These baby cribs were sold at juvenile products stores in New York and New Jersey from January 2003 to August 2004.

I bought my 300 series crib in July 2005.Instructions and diagrams were included, but I always wondered how accurate were they, especially now that I was trying to convert the crib to a junior bed .The intructions did not provide a feasible way of converting the crib , steps were missing.
