The latest stroller manufacturer to announce a hinge-related recall is Britax. The company is recalling nearly 15,000 Britax Blink strollers because the hinge poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard when the stroller is being unfolded. No injuries have been reported.

This recall includes 14,000 Britax Blink strollers in the U.S. and another 900 strollers in Canada. All Britax Blink strollers are included in the recall. The model numbers found on these strollers are U261813, U261814, U261815, U261816, U261817, U271813, U271817 and U271815. They were manufactured between May and September 2009.

If your baby's Britax Blink stroller is affected by the recall, stop using it until you can install hinge covers provided by the manufacturer. You can call call 888-427-4829 or visit blinkrecall.com to receive the hinge covers or for more information.
