Twelve Days of Baby Christmas Gifts: Pipers Piping

On the 11th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me - eleven pipers piping, ten LeapFrog toys, nine dancing shoes, eight Mamas milk gifts, seven Svans a-scooting, six geese a-rhyming, fiiiiiiiive golden rings, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge (without the pear tree).

We're in the middle of a winter storm here, so the idea of staying inside, curled up in front of the Christmas tree, listening to a CD of soft music is incredibly appealing to me today!

The music on these CDs isn't generally performed with a pipe, but I think if you give it a listen, you might just like it anyway. Rockabye Baby CDs are music from the bands you grew up with - from the Beatles and Rolling Stones to Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins - but the music is softer, in lullaby form, just right for your baby to enjoy.

Rockabye Baby CDs (compare prices) are pleasant for adults to listen to, as well. It's amusing to play them when friends are around and watch them try to figure out where they've heard that tune before.
