On the 6th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me - six geese a-rhyming, fiiiiiiiive golden rings, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge (without the pear tree).

The gift of a book and time together to read it is one of the best holiday gifts ever. It's never out of style and nearly always easy on the budget, too, particularly when it comes to classics like Mother Goose rhymes. "Here Comes Mother Goose" is a collection of some of the familiar nursery rhymes we all grew up with, but there are some obscure rhymes thrown in for good measure, too.

The illustrations are fun and eye-catching for toddlers, who will also enjoy the silliness of these Mother Goose nursery rhymes. This is a perfect gift for a baby of any age, since parents can read it to younger babies or toddlers before they're old enough to explore the book alone. The short rhymes are just about right to match a toddler attention span, too!

Thank you for your sharing! It’s every parent’s big headache to pick up perfect gadgets for our kids. The Six Mother Goose Rhymes you recommended is a good choice for girls! I also made a gift list firstly and have found some cheap and attractive toys both in stores and online. I hate to compare price and models one by one, thus Walmart and http://followsales.com/l/cat/7500 are both two amazing places to find the best toys bargains! I’m looking forward to the Christmas, and celebrating Happy New Year with my families.
