Crib Bedding Spotlight: Bold Color, Modern Dots

I can't wander through the baby department of any store without stopping and staring at the adorable crib bedding collections. It was no different as I tried to avoid the siren call of the cute bedding on Target's website last week, but I had to take a peek when I saw these brightly colored flowers pop up as a related item. The Tadpoles Geisha bedding features vivid color and rows of flowers that look a bit modern but also remind me of an old-fashioned quilt. If you're decorating a girl's nursery and want some bright colors along with sweet pink, this bedding set gives you plenty to work with.

For boys, I also like the eye-catching colors and modern-looking circles in Sumersault's Geo Boy crib bedding set. There's an animal theme in there, too, with happy animal faces interspersed with the dots and swirls. This bedding has traditional soft blue in it, but it's mixed with cocoa, soft yellow, orange and grass green, so there are lots of options for choosing coordinating wall and accent colors for the nursery. Accessories such as diaper stackers, mobiles and window valances are available to go with both bedding sets.
