Securing your kitchen and bathroom cabinets with latches is an essential part of childproofing. It can be difficult to find cabinet latches that work with your cabinet hardware, or that are easy to operate. I often wondered if our cabinet latches were made to just keep everyone out of the silverware drawer. You'll also want to be careful to install the Tot Loks in about the same spot on each door if possible, so you don't have to hunt around with the magnet key to find the right spot to unlock the door. Generally, the ease of use of Tot Loks outweighs the drawbacks.
