All About Parenting Blog Carnival: Road Trips!

Sunday June 1, 2008
Road trips are a tradition for many families nowadays. There's nothing like loading up the car with snacks and toys and the whole family and heading out for whatever adventures await you on the open road. I remember the excitement of escaping the city for a few weeks with my family as a child, looking out the window of our huge green Oldsmobile at the countryside, and playing "I Spy" with my mother to pass the time. My family was still taking road trips when I was a sulky teen, trying not to let anyone notice my interest in the Kansas countryside, which was beautiful even though I was sure I'd rather be at the mall with my friends. This summer, I'll be taking my daughter on a road trip. Probably the first she'll remember! I can't wait to see what adventures and memories our trip will hold.

If you're planning a road trip this summer, here are some tips and stories from other bloggers to help you prepare for a smooth and fun road trip for the whole family.
