Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Kitchens Recalled

Tuesday November 6, 2007
Fisher Price recently issued a recall on more than 150,000 Laugh & Learn Learning Kitchen toys because small pieces of the faucet and clock hands can detach and could pose a choking hazard. Fisher Price will send a repair kit to those of you who already own this toy. You just have to call 888-812-7187 and ask for one.

I was dismayed to read about this recall because I really like the Laugh & Learn series from Fisher Price. In fact, I named the Learning Kitchen one of the best toys for one-year-old babies. If you were considering this toy as a holiday gift, I still recommend it, though you may want to wait until Fisher Price has a chance to get the updated models on shelves before you purchase it. If you're not comfortable buying this toy after the recall, a great substitute would be the Learning Home from the same series.
