CPSC Announces Eight New Children's Products Recalls
Wednesday September 26, 2007
It must have been a busy day at CPSC, as they've announced eight new recalls in the toys and children's products categories alone. Probably the best known name among the latest recalls is Thomas & Friends. RC2 has expanded the earlier recall of the Thomas & Friends railway toys to include an additional 200,000 toys because the surface paints contain lead, which is toxic if ingested.
Other recalled products include garden toys sold at Jo-Ann and Target stores, Guidecraft puppet theaters, BCI swingsets and two jewelry items. To learn more about these and other baby products recalls, visit the Current Baby Products Recalls pages.
