Disney Princesses Plush Easter Baskets Recalled
Thursday April 5, 2007
If you've already finished preparing an Easter surprise for your toddler, you may want to double check that your Easter supplies are safe for young children. Gemmy Industries Corp. and the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission recently announced a recall of 8,500 Disney Princesses plush Easter baskets because the silver beads and ribbons on the basket can detach, posing a choking hazard. The Disney Easter baskets were sold in Walmart stores nationwide from February to March of this year. Parents can remove the beads and ribbons to remove the hazard, or return the basket to any Walmart store for a full refund.
