Mead Johnson Recalls Baby Formula
Wednesday February 22, 2006
Mead Johnson Pharmaceuticals recently recalled one lot of Gentlease powdered baby formula because it contains metal particles. If an infant were to inhale the powdered formula, it could harm their respiratory system. No injuries have been reported, according to a news release from the company. Only the 24-ounce cans of powdered Gentlease formula with batch code BMJ19 on the bottom are included in the recall. Parents are urged to stop using the formula and call Mead Johnson at 888-587-7275. Do not return the formula to retail stores.
