Organic Baby Clothes: Soft and Stylish

Friday December 16, 2005
If you're an active environmentalist or concerned about chemicals near your baby's skin, organic baby clothes offer a stylish wardrobe for baby, and fewer worries for parents. Though organic clothes used to be available in a limited range of natural colors, today's organic baby clothes have plenty of color and flash to brighten baby's day. This merino wool baby sweater from MotherNaturesCloset.com will keep baby toasty all winter. This hooded button-up sweater is warm without being too bulky, and the classic style won't look dated if baby can still wear it next season or if the sweater is passed to other kids. The outside of the hooded sweater is a beautiful deep blue wool, while the inside is creamy white, perfect for boys and girls alike. Available in sizes from newborn to toddler.

Definitely look into using organic cotton for your baby, but also try bamboo fabrics - they are incredibly soft and gentle on baby?s delicate skin. And bamboo is so fast growing - the perfect renewable resource for fabrics. Think about going organic when choosing baby mattresses too.
