Graco Toddler Bed Recall

Tuesday March 22, 2005
In March 2005, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of 1.2 million Graco toddler beds. The recalled beds can trap toddlers legs, arms or feet between the guardrails or footboards, resulting in bruises, sprains or broken bones. More than 70 entrapments were reported. For more information on this Graco toddler bed recall, including model numbers and instructions for contacting Graco for a retrofit safety kit, please visit CPSC. More recent recalls can be found on the Current Baby Products Recalls page, which is updated regularly with the latest information you need to keep your baby safe.

just received our new baby bed to replace the simplicity one we had that was recalled and really not happy! the one we had was lower to the ground, making for a better toddler bed, came provided with the rails for the conversion to the toddler bed, not to mention was heavier and more sturdy. how very frustating!
