Pacifier Necklaces Recalled

Friday February 11, 2005
CPSC and Todo Dollar Wholesale are working together on a voluntary recall of pacifier baby necklaces. The pacifier tip can break off, posing a choking hazard. Flashing Pacifier with Whistle Necklace and Flashing Pacifier Shock Baby Necklace are the recalled items, which were sold through internet distributors and small stores from January - November 2004 for about $1. About 102,000 of the pacifier necklaces are affected by the recall, but no injuries have been reported. Both pacifiers have a handle that operates an on-off button for a flashing light. The whistle pacifier also has a hole in the nipple that forms the whistle. Return the pacifiers to the store where they were purchased or call Todo Dollar Wholesale at (866) 325-4732.
